OnePlus 11 Concept: Striking design and new cooling system
OnePlus shows a concept of its latest smartphone at the Mobile World Congress. The new variant of the existing OnePlus 11 is visually striking and features new cooling technology.
Manufacturers like to use trade fairs such as the Mobile World Congress to showcase device concepts. They want to attract attention, demonstrate new technologies or gather reactions. This is exactly what OnePlus is aiming for with the new version of the OnePlus 11, which is only on display and not for sale.
More FPS and faster loading
OnePlus calls the new cooling technology "Active CryoFlux". It should have no effect on the weight, size or volume of the smartphone. When gaming, however, it is said to keep it 2.1 degrees Celsius cooler than the conventional OnePlus 11 hold.
The cooling performance should make three to four more frames per second possible when gaming. When charging the battery, Active CryoFlux reduces the temperature by 1.6 degrees and thus enables a 30 to 45 second faster charging process. That's not much, but the conventional OnePlus 11 only needs 27 minutes to fully charge its battery.
Active CryoFlux consists of a piezoelectric mini pump made of ceramic that moves the coolant and only requires 0.2 square centimetres of space. It is unclear whether OnePlus had to reduce the size of other internal components for this purpose.
Movement on the back
Blue sets the tone for the design. The blue stripes on the back appear to move and a blue ring lights up around the camera module. A structure reminiscent of carbon shimmers through under the glossy cover.
The details could not be verified in detail at the OnePlus stand. However, no difference to the OnePlus 11 can be recognised with bare hands and eyes. OnePlus did not provide any information on when the cooling technology could be installed in series devices. As far as the design is concerned, OnePlus has never turned previous concept designs into production devices.

Since then I've had the opportunity to test out all the newest technology for you. I've done reviews at Curved, Computer Bild and Netzwelt, and have now arrived at Galaxus.de.
