These Lego «Star Wars» sets are about to hit retirement
At the end of the year, Lego will cease production of several of its Star Wars sets. Here’s a look at which models are expected to be leaving shelves.
It’s not unusual for Lego to stop producing a set after it’s been around for a while. When this happens, the set is tagged with EOL for «End of Life». If there’s too litte demand for a set, it’ll disappear from the market faster than its more popular counterparts. Lego typically produces its sets for more or less two years, but there are exceptions. Certain sets have been available on the market for as many as ten years.
I’ve gathered info from several sources to come up with this list of Star Wars sets that will possibly be discontinued at the end of the year. My sources include Lego itself in addition to rumors and conjecture from experts such as Toy Investor (German only). Every once in a while, Lego decides at the last second that a retiring product should stay on the market. That’s why this list is not definitive.
In any case, Lego is expected to cease production of these seven Star Wars sets at the end of December 2022:

LEGO Duel on Mandalore

LEGO Star Wars 75299 Problems on Tatooine Set

LEGO Resistance X-Wing

LEGO Imperial Probe Droid

LEGO Yoda

LEGO Imperial Marauder

LEGO Imperial Star Destroyer

LEGO Scout Trooper Helmet

LEGO Boba Fett Helmet

LEGO Mandalorian Starfighter

LEGO Star Wars 75302 Imperial Shuttle

LEGO Star Wars 75280 501st Legion Clone Troopers

LEGO Imperial Light Cruise

LEGO Attack Shuttle from The Bad Batch

LEGO Razor Crest Microfighter
Every Tuesday this month, I’ll be sharing a Lego EOL post. I’ll release my next list on 15 November; the focus will be on soon-to-be discontinued Lego Icons models.
