You no longer need to save everyone in the phone book for WhatsApp
Previously, you had to save the contact details of every person you wanted to send a message to on WhatsApp. This has now changed and the diversions has been cancelled.
Sending WhatsApp messages to an unknown number was previously not possible. First you had to save every contact - be it from the dog sports group, the house chat (who is actually who here?) or the dude from the last Tutti sale.
Now WhatsApp prevents overflowing phone books: You can now also send messages to unknown numbers. This means that you no longer have to save everyone in your phone book to write to people.
How sending to unknown numbers works
Now you can simply open a new chat in WhatsApp. Then enter the number in the search bar. The chat button will then appear, which you can use to start the conversation.

The function is currently being rolled out for iOS and Android. However, it will take a few more days before the update is available everywhere.
