The product is of good quality, but it's important to understand that this cable is unidirectional. It's designed for a PC with a Displayport output on an HDMI screen and not the other way round.
Only works with a DisplayPort source, not the other way around
DO NOT BUY if your laptop/ pc has an HDMI output. This cable only works if your device has a Display port output.
Some examples:
- This cable DOES NOT work if you connect your laptop's HDMI output to a Display Port monitor input.
- This cable works if you connect your PC's Display Port output to an HDMI monitor input.
To be fair, this is mentioned in the product description. If you click in "show more", you'll see a small note at the end with this information.
It certainly is my fault for not reading the whole product description, but they should REALLY put this note in a visible place. At leas separated from the rest of the text, or in bold font. Something noticeable.

Bad Quality
When I received this cable, I noticed the poor production quality. The Display Connector was so loose, that I had to build a support that the cable doesn't completely self-dissemble. Also the connection between my grafics card and the monitor is interrupted often enough to make this cable not usable.
