Sowohl iPhone 7 als auch 7 Plus haben einen optischen Bildstabilisator, der 12-Megapixel-Sensor ist neu und die Bildsignalverarbeitung wurde optimiert. Das Ergebnis ist eine vor allem bei schlechtem Licht bessere Bildqualität. Auch die Frontkamera wurde aufgewertet: Nicht nur die Auflösung ist gestiegen (von 5 auf 8 Megapixel), auch die Qualität hat spürbar angezogen.
