After connecting the Lightning to the USB 3 camera adapter, iPad Pro automatically opens the Photos app. It lets you choose which photos and videos to import, and then organize them into albums.

The Lightning to USB 3 camera adapter supports popular photo formats such as JPEG and RAW, as well as SD and HD video formats such as H. 264 and MPEG-4.12.9" iPad Pro transfers data at USB 3 speed, while the 9.7" iPad Pro uses USB 2.
