TUF Gaming cards utilize the proven Axial-Tech fan design, where three fans operate in parallel to meet the thermal demands of NVIDIA's high-performance design. The fans feature dual ball bearings to ensure consistent performance and increased longevity compared to sleeve bearings and other types. The two side fans rotate counterclockwise to reduce air turbulence. To minimize unnecessary noise, a stop mode turns off all fans when the GPU temperature falls below 50 degrees and power consumption is low. The MaxContact technology is employed to transfer heat from the chip to the heatsinks, polishing the cooler's surface to ensure optimal heat transfer.
