The 7590 AX is the most powerful router with the best features and the fastest WLAN. The 7530 is a very good compromise between price and performance. The places in between are very well filled by the in-house Telekom router and the Asus. The latter clearly stands out from the rest in terms of security thanks to its DDoS attack protection.

Inexpensive FritzBox. Good FritzBox for the price-conscious. Lowest power consumption in the test: only 6 watts in operation. Satisfactory WLAN speed. One of the Lan sockets can optionally be used as a Wan socket for an external modem. Very easy to handle. Very good security functions.

The Fritz Box 7590 AX is an all-rounder that is suitable for many households with its fast WLAN, many functions and simple operation. If you don't want to spend so much and have less living space, go for the 7530 AX - which is also very energy-efficient. The current Speedport routers from Telekom offer more WLAN performance but fewer functions.
