I/O connections include line-out, line-in, optical output, and optical USB-C input for power and audio. The microphone input and headphone input are designed for communication, featuring the SmartComms suite with automatic muting and two-way noise cancellation, as well as CrystalVoice for clear recording and gaming communication.

Controls include volume control, a direct mute button for the microphone, and three equalizer modes. The device supports Super X-Fi and SXFI BATTLE speakers (line-out) and has a headphone switch to enable/disable sound balance function.

Software includes the Creative app via USB on Windows PC or Mac for full sound customization, and the Creative app via Bluetooth for Android and iOS for quick equalizer and sound enhancements. The headphone amplifier supports headphone impedance from 32 to 600 ohms, with SXFI BATTLE mode for gaming that provides realistic audio cues, details, and depth, as well as scout mode to hear faint sounds of enemies.

Sound performance is rated at 114 dB, 24 bit / 192 kHz, with a convenient power supply via USB-C bus.
