A search function, station history and the location-based display of local radio stations including up-to-date information on meta data round off the offer. The radio is operated via the home Internet access via cable or wireless. Alternatively, IP Square white even has terrestrial radio via FM band on board.

The streaming function in the local network is attractive for PC users with their own music collection. Personal music files are transferred to the radio via LAN/WLAN. Other audio sources, e.g. an MP3 player, can be connected via the line-in connection (Aux-in). It is also possible to connect to the stereo system via the line-out connection (Chinch, L/R) and headphone operation.
