Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis der Tough Drive ist nur durchschnittlich, ebenso wie auch die reine Performance der Freecom Festplatte. Dem gegenüber steht hier eine sehr geringe Lautstärke im Betrieb, zumal sich die Festplatte auch durch den geringen Stromverbrauch auszeichnen kann.

Die größte Stärke der Freecom ToughDrive USB 3.0 1TB (56057) liegt bei der Lautheit, hier arbeitet die externe Festplatte sehr leise. Weiterhin ist die Leistungsaufnahme vergleichsweise gering und auch in Sachen Performance hinterlässt die USB 3.0 Festplatte einen guten Eindruck.
