The GFX50S II features a large format 51.4-megapixel image sensor. It is approximately 1.7 times larger than a 35mm (full frame) sensor and offers a high dynamic range and excellent signal-to-noise ratio. In combination with the powerful X-Processor 4, brilliant image quality is achieved. The images captivate with rich tonal reproduction, low image noise, and well-drawn shadows and highlights. When paired with a lens from the GF series, a consistently high resolution over the entire image area and an almost three-dimensional image effect are achieved.
The GFX50S II's Pixel Shift Multi-Shot function creates ultra-high resolution images with 200 megapixels. The images are characterized by a high level of detail and a natural color impression without false colors. This makes the GFX50S II the ideal camera for documentation work in museums and archives, as well as other photographic applications where maximum color and detail are important.
The GFX50S II weighs only 900 grams and is particularly suitable for use without a tripod. The camera, which is no larger than a 35mm sensor model, has an advanced five-axis image stabilization system (IBIS) that effectively prevents camera shake and allows sharp images at up to 6.5 EV stops with slower shutter speeds. The IBIS system is particularly beneficial when shooting freehand in low-light conditions, such as indoors and after dark, and when shooting at long telephoto focal lengths.
The rugged magnesium body is reinforced around the bayonet mount to ensure the best possible stability when using larger and heavier lenses. It is protected against splash water and dust and can be used in low temperatures down to minus 10 degrees Celsius. Its handiness and robustness make it possible to use the new GFX50S II in areas where conventional medium format cameras could hardly or not at all be used so far.

The image quality of the Fujifilm GFX50S II is beyond reproach. What it shows at high ISO numbers is absolutely impressive. Even at ISO 25,600 you can still make out individual hairs in portraits. But the Canon EOS R5, which costs 4300 euros, shows that it is on a par even at high sensor sensitivities...
- Photographers will be pleased with the image quality and resolution, which offers more than enough reserves even for very large prints and prints. The camera is very compact for a medium format camera.
- If you film a lot, you won't be happy with the GFX50S II. It only offers Full HD resolution at 30 frames per second - that's no longer up to date.

On the other hand, it offers very good image quality thanks to its large sensor and high resolution, so that the GFX50S Il is well worth considering for wedding and event photographers, beginners...
