Fujifilm X-T4
26.10 Mpx, APS-C / DXProduct details
With the first X100, Fujifilm laid the foundation for the award-winning X System, which has delighted photo enthusiasts and design fans alike with its image quality and ease of use. Since then, the X100 series has been continuously developed. The X100S, the X100T and finally the X100F marked further milestones. With the new X100V, this success story is now being continued. The Fujifilm X100V is of timeless elegance - a true design icon. The upper and lower housing plates are made of solid aluminium and ensure the perfect appearance of the camera. The anodised aluminium gives the case a beautiful silky shine.
The handle, ISO dial and lens barrel have been carefully redesigned to make the camera even easier to use and operate. The 3-inch (7.6 cm) LCD display is now foldable and has an intuitive touch function, making it even easier to take pictures and view them.
As the first model in the X100 series, the new X100V is weatherproof: in combination with the AR-X100 adapter ring and the PRF-49 protection filter (both available as optional accessories), it is completely protected against splash water and dust.
The lens of the camera with a fixed focal length of 23mm (equivalent to 35mm for KB) was redesigned especially for the high-resolution X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor. In terms of resolution performance and distortion correction, it is once again significantly improved compared to previous models, although it has not increased in size. The lens still has an integrated ND filter that reduces the amount of light by four EV levels, and it remains compatible with the optional wide-angle and telephoto converters.
At the heart of the X100V is the duo of X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor and X-Processor 4, with an exceptional 26.1 megapixel sensor with backside exposure that offers unsurpassed image quality and an extended dynamic range. The sensor's unique pixel pattern prevents disturbing moiré effects and color errors so effectively that an optical low-pass filter is not required. The powerful X Processor 4 with quad-core technology enables fast data processing and a new AF algorithm ensures precise focusing even in low light down to -5EV.
The large hybrid viewfinder, which is one of the key features of the X100 series, has again been significantly enhanced. It can be used either as an optical viewfinder with 0.52x magnification or as an electronic viewfinder (EVF) with 3.69 million pixels, allowing the user to switch between the two modes quickly and easily when shooting.

On the following double page, we present the twelve best system cameras with a price of less than 1,500 euros. They are sorted according to their partial score in the "Video" category. However, so that you also know what the cameras have to offer photographically, you will also find all other relevant test results and information about the cameras in the corresponding test boxes...
Above all, the image stabiliser integrated into the housing makes the difference to the (somewhat cheaper) predecessor model. But the high-resolution folding and swivel display and the fast mechanical shutter also show that the X-T4 is in the upper league. Those who like to operate the camera with the classic time dial can take it without hesitation...
