Connect the Google Chromecast to your TV via HDMI and stream content from your PC, Mac, or smartphone using Google Chrome. Additionally, the YouTube and Google Music apps are available, which can be controlled via smartphone. You can also access media content in the Google Play Store. More Chromecast apps are expected to follow, according to Google.
Compatible with Android, iOS, Chrome for Mac, and Chrome for Windows. Content can be "cast" to the TV from your Chrome on PC/Mac with the push of a button.
Supports Miracast, Airplay, and WiDi (though not fully controllable). Chromecast supports the CEC standard, allowing it to be controlled with your TV remote.

Mit nur 40 Euro gehört der Google Chromecast zu den günstigeren Streaming-Alternativen auf dem Markt. Zwar muss man dafür auf Ultra HD oder auch HDR verzichten, die Qualität in HD ist jedoch gut. Fotos wiederum kann der Chromecast nur etwas unscharf darstellen. Klanglich zeigt er ein ebenso gutes Ergebnis, ohne dass Raumklang geboten wird...
Alles übers Handy. Der günstige Chromecast lässt sich ausschließlich per Smartphone bedienen. Auf dem Fernseher wird kein Menü angezeigt, Nutzer besorgen sich Apps mit Chromecast-Symbol im App-Store. Zugriff auf viele wichtige Videotheken. Überzeugt bei Bildqualität und Bedienung. Transportiert Inhalte aus dem Heimnetzwerk nur über eine zusätzliche App. Manko: Kein Lan-Anschluss.

Wenn man noch nicht Besitzer eins Smart TVs ist aber die Vorzüge eines solchen nutzen möchte, dann muss nicht zwangsläufig ein neuer Fernseher her. Mit dem Chromecast von Google lassen sich eine Vielzahl an smarten Optionen nachrüsten, und die sogar ohne großen Aufwand. Die Bedienung und auch die Installation des TV-Sticks ist sehr einfach, zumal er sich sowohl zu Android, aber auch zu iOS und Windows...

Der Chromecast ist ebenfalls schnell und einfach installiert, wobei hierfür allerdings ein PC oder Smartphone notwendig ist. Da das Gerät selbst die Daten aus dem Internet streamt, ist das Handling denkbar einfach, wobei auch hier zahlreiche Mediatheken angeschlossen sind. Die Bedienung erfolgt allerdings hier auch per externem Gerät wie Handy oder Tablet.

Der kleine Stick von Google ist kinderleicht und schnell installiert und bietet dabei eine sehr gute sowie einfache Bedienung. Die Bildqualität ist insgesamt ebenso gut wie die große Auswahl an verfügbaren Apps oder Online Mediatheken. Zwar können bei der Umwandlung von 60 Hertz Bildern kleine Ruckler auftreten aber das nur in seltenen Fällen sowie bestimmten Fernsehern...
Die Bildqualität über den Stick ist sehr gut und dabei sind Installation als auch die Bedienung einfach. Allerdings ist hierfür ein Smartphone notwendig, da keine Fernbedienung hierfür vorhanden ist. Die Formatvielfalt aus dem Netzwerk beschränkt sich auf die wichtigsten und auch bei den Online Diensten ist die Auswahl eher beschränkt.
