The Hama DIR3100 digital radio is no bargain, but it convinced us in the test with its decent sound and extensive features - a well-deserved test victory. The Sony XDR-S61D, which costs just over half the price, is recommended for smaller budgets. The handy radio receiver has a useful sound and, thanks to its battery compartment, can also be used for a picnic in the city park.
The consumption values are slightly higher and the poor FM reception is also a weakness. However, the DAB+ reception is good, as is the protection against radio interference. Furthermore, the operation is good and the sound is also good.
