The XCD 2.5/90V lens features nine elements in six groups, including one aspherical element. This medium telephoto lens corresponds to a full-frame focal length of 71 mm. It offers exceptional optical performance in a compact design and supports image resolutions of over 100 MP. The large aperture of f/2.5 makes it an ideal portrait lens.

The completely redesigned focusing module with a stepper motor enables faster and more precise autofocus, and the optimized central shutter is more compact while providing flash synchronization at all speeds.

The XCD 2.5/90V is equipped with an improved central shutter that achieves a shutter speed of up to 1/4000 s. The shutter is fast and quiet, complemented by the newly developed focus module that allows for quick and precise focusing.

The lens includes both a focus ring and a lens control ring. Switching between autofocus and manual focus is done by simply pressing and pulling the focus ring. In manual mode, you can easily read the focus distance and depth of field. The control ring can be customized so you can quickly access your preferred functions.
