Although the Huawei MatePad 10.4 does well in the test and scores points for its price range with a pretty display, good performance and especially with its strong battery life of over 16 hours, the limited Android always remains a big but. Although the tablet itself and its functions have their appeal, the absence of the Play Store and especially Google services can severely limit its use...

With the Mate Pad 10.4, Huawei has created a really decent tablet. The runtime and speed are OK, the memory is expandable and the screen is good. Fortunately, the only thing missing is the Play Store. Huawei's AppGallery is no alternative here - hence the downgrade.
