New "Cap" Switch Form - Gateron Cap V2 Milky-Brown

The Gateron Cap V2 Switch features a new shape resembling a cap, which is why we call it the "Cap Switch." The improved structure of this new switch series provides a smooth and tactile typing experience. It is fully compatible with 2-pin/4-pin LEDs, RGB LEDs, and mechanical keyboards that are hot-swappable without modifications.

More Stability

The stem has been enlarged and hollowed out to make the switch more stable and to prevent wobbling. This first-generation gold-plated contact offers better oxidation resistance and a product lifespan of 60 million cycles.

Unique Stem Design

Based on aerodynamic theory, the stem allows excess air to escape through 0.4 tiny holes, reducing resistance when the key switch is pressed, making it smoother.

Factory Lubricated and Smooth

The switches are well-lubricated before leaving the factory, which generally improves smoothness and stability. There is no need to lubricate them again.

Compatible Keyboards:

Compatible with all mechanical 5-pin MX keyboards (hot-swappable) with 2-pin LED/4-pin LED/SMD LED or RGB LED lighting. Please note that the Cap Red Switch, Cap Blue Switch, and Cap Brown Switch are not compatible with mechanical keyboards with plug-in lighting. Note: Due to the housing design of the Gateron Cap Milky-Yellow, Golden-Yellow, and Golden-Brown switches, the backlighting effect is not as visible.
