Define your typing experience. The Gateron Cap V2 Switch is the new switch series that offers a smooth and tactile typing experience. The Gateron Cap V2 switches are fully compatible with our regular Keychron keyboards. They can be swapped out on the fly and do not require soldering.

Get to know the Gateron Cap V2 switches. An enlarged pin makes the switch stem less wobbly and more stable. A 0.4 mm small hole has been added to the switch base to reduce resistance based on aerodynamic principles. The base material of the gold contacts has been improved, significantly enhancing oxidation resistance and conductivity.

Compatible keyboards: All keyboards from the K series (only Gateron Mechanical Hot-Swappable or Keychron Mechanical Hot-Swappable), K Pro (only normal profile versions), V, or Q Keychron.

Factory pre-lubricated and smooth. The factory pre-lubrication generally improves the smoothness, stability, and lifespan of the switch.
