The Lindy 350m Fibre Optic USB 3.0 Extender is a high-quality solution for transmitting USB signals over significantly greater distances than conventional copper cables - while maintaining high data rates of up to 5Gbit/s. It is a hardware solution consisting of two components: a transmitter, which is connected to the computer, and a receiver for connecting the peripheral device, which are connected by a multimode fiber optic cable with LC duplex connector.

The extender is ideal for remote desktop connections, industrial control, for monitoring or for external storage systems. Due to the low electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI) of fiber optic cables, this extender can also be used in sensitive environments, such as hospitals.
