Product details
Control an unlimited number of devices in a closed TV cabinet or lowboard in one or two cabinet compartments. With the exception of the very small IR receiver, the entire set can be completely hidden from view. Perfect operation is guaranteed. Installation is very simple and quick due to the latest infrared technology (Infrared Blaster LED).
Place the Infrared Blaster LED anywhere in the (TV) cabinet, and you can control all audiovisual devices in that compartment.
The product is compatible with almost all brands and models and is suitable for new IR code formats (such as RC-MM) used in many new HD devices and digital TV decoders. Thanks to special filter technology, it is insensitive to use near flat-screen TVs (plasma, LCD, and LED) and direct sunlight.
The most commonly sold infrared extender is the Invisible Control 6 XTRA. This nearly invisible infrared extender works with all devices and is particularly easy to install due to the two included infrared blasters.
This infrared extender typically consists of an infrared receiver, an infrared module (transmitter), and an infrared module (blaster LED).
The receiver is placed within sight of the remote control and is connected to the module located in your cabinet. The transmitter is then connected to the module. The signal from your remote control is transmitted via the receiver to the module, which then relays the signal to the transmitter. The transmitter now controls your audiovisual device. As a result, you no longer need to open the cabinet doors to operate your devices.
Please note that devices controlled by infrared, such as Bang & Olufsen products, cannot be operated with infrared extenders.
