The Nikon Z9 benefits relatively little in RAW mode. At ISO 64 it gains slightly everywhere. At higher sensitivities, basically only the LR2 setting remains as the best compromise between detail and noise. LR3, on the other hand, costs too much drawing and the images with LR1 are too noisy.
Both the Canon EOS R3 and the Nikon Z 9 delivered very good, though not perfect, image tracking performance in our test. Nevertheless, their performance is astonishing, reducing the essential thinking work to the preparation of the shots. The Nikon Z 9 stuck to the subject slightly better than the Canon EOS R3 and found its way back into focus more quickly when it was lost...
