Nikon Z6 II
24.50 Mpx, Full frameProduct details
No matter what challenges your next project throws at you, the versatile Z 6II full-frame mirrorless camera is the ideal tool to turn your imagination into powerful images faster, sharper and smoother. This is where opportunity and excellence meet - in photos and videos alike. The Z bayonet with its large diameter and the large full-frame sensor with 24.5 MP ensure low-noise images with the highest level of detail across the exceptionally wide ISO range. With a lens speed of 1:2, the low-light autofocus now works down to a light value of -6 EV. Photos can be taken at 14 fps with full autofocus tracking and automatic exposure adjustment. Capture up to 200 full-resolution JPEG images or 124 uncompressed 12-bit RAW images in a single burst. Two processors double the available performance - from autofocus to buffer capacity. The conversion is silky smooth, both when filming and taking photos.
Implement workflows of any kind. You can use UHS-II SD cards in one slot and XQD or state-of-the-art ultra-fast CFexpress cards in the other. Capture sharper, clearer video with greater dynamic range. Eye AF for people, dogs and cats is available when filming. And film recordings can be output to external devices if required. The super strong and lightweight construction of this camera is made of magnesium alloy. The camera is easy to carry and so robust that it can be used anywhere. It is fully sealed to protect against dust, dirt and moisture. Enjoy the film-like depth of field that can be achieved with the wide range of fast-focusing and compact NIKKOR-Z lenses. You can also use external flash units at high frame rates of up to 14 fps. The FTZ bayonet adapter ensures compatibility with over 300 NIKKOR lenses with an F bayonet. A complete overview of lens compatibilities can be found on the Nikon website. With the Nikon SnapBridge app you can update the firmware of your camera via a smart device.

Like its high-resolution sister model Z7, Nikon has upgraded the Z6 to the second generation: The Z6ll full-frame camera was launched in November 2020 and still offers a good balance between sensor resolution and speed, making it suitable for many subject areas. Its successor, the Z6Ill, offers significantly more power, for example in terms of autofocus, continuous shooting, video and viewfinder, but...

With a price range from 890 to 8000 euros, there should be something to suit almost every budget. High-resolution medium and full-frame cameras offer top performance in terms of image quality. Robust, fast and excellently equipped cameras can also be found in the APS-C and MFT range...
- Very large

The Z6 II delivers the best mix and wins: photos and videos succeed in top quality - even in very low light and at very high ISO settings. The Z6 II reacts very quickly and is easy to operate. It is very fast in continuous shooting with up to 13 frames per second. The viewfinder and display are nice and large and show a very detailed image...

Nikon's new full-frame camera impresses with its great image quality, powerful new functions such as pixel shift and high speed. If you like retro design and operation, you will also get a technically outstanding camera here. Photographers who prefer the modern operating concept can hope for a Z6lll with the same inner values...

Nikon has upgraded the popular Z 6 to the second generation in a similar way to the Z 7. It offers a good balance between sensor resolution and speed, which is suitable for many subject areas such as nature, sports and action photography and keeps the price affordable for a full-frame camera...
If you are looking for a particularly compact full-frame camera with the latest autofocus capabilities, the Alpha 7C II is a good choice. However, most of the larger cameras in the test field offer greater ease of use, e.g. an autofocus joystick or better viewfinders. The Canon EOS R8, which is the second cheapest camera tested with a street price of 1800 euros, won the test and offers the best value...
