Nikon Z7 II
45.70 Mpx, Full frameProduct details
Let nothing come between you and the uncompromising realization of your vision. With the Nikon Z 7II, you can perfectly realize your ideas and use light as a means of image composition. The camera lives up to your passion for the smallest details in every situation. The Z bayonet with its large diameter is complemented by the large full-frame sensor with 45.7 MP and two EXPEED processors. Benefit from wider dynamic range and clean performance throughout the ISO range. Shoot video at resolutions up to 4K/60p.
Two memory card slots allow you to use UHS-II SD cards in one and XQD or ultra-fast CFexpress cards in the other. This enables workflows of all kinds. Absolutely reliable focusing. The camera automatically reactivates the previously selected focus point after exiting sleep mode. With a lens light intensity of at least 1:2.0, the exposure metering works down to -4 EV. Frame rates of up to 10 fps offer immense flexibility. At the same time, the large buffer allows largely uninterrupted photography.
The high-resolution electronic viewfinder (EVF) with approx. 3.69 million pixels offers a high frame rate that largely eliminates viewfinder darkening when shooting at high frame rates. Customizable information displays allow settings to be quickly corrected, but can also be completely disabled when shooting. The electronic viewfinder automatically turns off when you flip out the monitor to shoot in LiveView.
In rough terrain, in difficult weather conditions and with fog machines on set, the fully sealed Z 7II performs equally well. Nikon's continuously evolving SnapBridge app lets you update your camera's firmware via a smart device.

Nikon has not created a fundamentally "new" system camera (class) with the Z7ll, but has modified the first generation in parts - but in the right places. In particular, the often criticised weak points of continuous shooting speed and data storage have been ironed out with the Dual-Expeed 6 and the second card drive...
With the SL3, Leica has created a very good full-frame camera that impresses above all with its high resolution. The autofocus still lags behind the competition from Canon, Nikon and Sony; firmware updates could bring improvements here. The best competitor models are also ahead in terms of continuous shooting and some features...

With a price range from 890 to 8000 euros, there should be something to suit almost every budget. High-resolution medium and full-frame cameras offer top performance in terms of image quality. Robust, fast and excellently equipped cameras can also be found in the APS-C and MFT range...

The NikonZ7II offers particularly attractive value for money, extensive features and high image quality. RAW does the camera good: the image quality already benefits noticeably at low ISO sensitivities. This is even more true for higher sensitivities. Although we generally advocate restrained denoising and more detail, with Nikon even more noise-reduced RAWs are more detailed than the JPEGs.
- Highly detailed photos
- Top viewfinder and display
- Slight loss of sharpness at very high ISO settings
The Z7 II delivers incredibly detailed photos - ideal for landscape photography. And it takes fantastic pictures even without a tripod - the built-in image stabiliser compensates well for shakiness when shooting. The autofocus reacts quickly and recognises the subject precisely...
