The Lumix 4K PHOTO function is designed for moments when you don't want to stand still. Whether it's a party snapshot, group self-serve or a photo of your dog that just won't sit still, 30 frames per second lets you capture unforgettable moments and save them as an 8 megapixel equivalent image. Unlike traditional 4K shooting, 4K Wide Angle mode allows you to use the full angle of the lens. This makes it perfect for outdoor selfies with dramatic backgrounds, group shots or shots where you need the widest possible angle. Here the frame rate is 15 fps.
Enjoy high quality, lifelike images with excellent resolution, high contrast and optimal colour reproduction. In combination with the Venus Engine, the 16 megapixel digital live MOS sensor without a low-pass filter ensures clear images with minimal interference, even in low light conditions. DFD (Depth From Defocus) technology calculates the distance to the subject by evaluating two images with different levels of sharpness. It also enables high-speed AF and continuous shooting.
With the Lumix GX880 system camera, photography is now even more creative. With 22 filter effects, you can add a personal touch to your snapshots, panoramas and even videos. In the Photo Style category, the L. Monochrome option offers deep blacks and perfect gradations comparable to the quality of black-and-white film. So even everyday shots become something really special.

Panasonic has not changed much with its new entry-level model Lumix DC-GX880 (practice). The new DSLM is based on the predecessor model Panasonic Lumix DC-GX800 (review), apart from new beauty functions and the additional grip support on the front, no new features have been added...
