All in all, the Philips 65PML9636 is an excellently equipped flatscreen with rich sound. Its record brightness predestines it for HDR and afternoon TV viewing - and the price is right, too.
The January and February updates bring new TVs from Philips, Hisense, Grundig and LG into our test database. Ten of them perform well overall. Even more - 15 - have a good picture. Four TVs are not convincing in terms of picture and are only adequate. The newly tested TVs have screen diagonals from 43 to 65 inches. They are priced between 500 and 2,900 euros.
