Yes, the jbl sound is designed for a party and therefore lacks a bit of midrange and treble for your home use. if you are looking for a very clean sound, I recommend another music box. If you can't compare the jbl with anything else, you won't notice that there are a few tones missing. I compared it with an oa system (EY) and teufel air. I currently own one from hifonics, which is actually a big brand in the car sector.

So if it turns off completely then I would definitely give it away under warranty. What would be normal is that when the maximum volume is reached, it briefly pauses the music and plays the associated sound. (2 soft drum beats)
