Hello Soultool. In principle, this would be possible, but I would not recommend using the paddles or other buttons on the steering wheel as accelerator and brake pedals, as you can then only apply full throttle and the buttons are sometimes more difficult to reach in the bends. Why do you want to use the steering wheel without pedals? If you have a physical limitation, I can recommend the Simraceway SRW-S1. This steering wheel is available for 50$ and has 4 paddles on the back: 2 paddles for shifting and 2 paddles for accelerator and brake that work like pedals. This steering wheel has no base but a motion sensor. There are several adapters for the SRW-S1 steering wheel to attach it to a Logitech or Thrustmaster base. I was able to find two possible adapters. One is the adapter from "Simability" (only for the G27) and the other is the "Quick Release" from "Simulaje", also available for the G29, but more expensive than the first one. Please contact me if you have any questions.

Hello Erwin. I can only give my experience regarding the G29. I think this can also help with a purchase decision. I have been using the G29 on my PC for a good 2 months. The workmanship is of high quality and gives the impression that it is designed for longer use. The choice of metal and imitation leather was certainly the right one. The pedals are also robust and adhere well to the floor. What is recommended is a non-slip chair, because depending on the sensitivity setting in the game, you like to put more pressure on the pedals and, as in my case in an office chair, push myself backwards. The force feedback is pleasant, adjustable in most racing games, so everything on the table doesn't start dancing like it did with me, two quite powerful motors in the steering wheel. You get a good driving feel over and feel what the car is doing. Let's move on to software: Logitech makes great products (I've had a headset from them for years) but there's a huge gap in software programming! The gaming software allows you to create your own profile for each game and thus select the button assignment yourself, so far so good. In practice, this means that when you start a game and want to interact with the steering wheel, you first have to change the profile in Logitech's Gaming Center to the game you want to play, otherwise you can't use the steering wheel in the game. Furthermore, the software has problems when several Logitech devices are connected and in operation at the same time. In my case, the G29 mentioned here and the G930 gaming headset. It can happen that the devices kick each other out and can no longer be used. Everything is as of 2.12.2015, newer updates can fix problems or cause new ones.

You can find a list of compatible games here: https://www.logitechg.com/de-ch/product/g29-driving-force?crid=1455#compatAnchor I assume the list is not exhaustive. I was able to play Wreckfest and WRC (assume that's what you mean) on PC with this wheel. Quite possibly it could work on the PS4 then too.

For the Logitech G29 Driving Force steering wheel you need a power supply with the following specifications: - Voltage: 24V - Current: 2.7A - Plug: 5.5 mm outer diameter / 2.5 mm inner diameter (hollow plug) You can either look for an original Logitech power supply or buy a compatible replacement power supply with the same specifications. Make sure that the polarity is correct (usually plus inside, minus outside). If you want a specific recommendation, I can help you find a suitable power supply.

The steering wheel is compatible with Forza Horizon 5 on the PC, as it can be connected via USB and the necessary software is supported. However, it is not directly compatible on the Xbox, as it was primarily developed for PlayStation and PC. To use it on PC, you need to make sure you have the latest drivers installed.

The steering wheel is compatible for PC and can be used with Forza Horizon 5, provided the latest drivers are installed. However, it is important to note that the steering wheel is primarily designed for PlayStation consoles and is compatible with Forza Horizon 5 on PC, but may not be compatible on Xbox.

Yes, you can use a wired headset even if you're using the steering wheel. The steering wheel itself connects via USB, but this does not affect the use of wired headphones. You can connect your headphones directly to your console or PC to enjoy the audio while using the steering wheel.

I think you can set the 'automatic transmission' mode, but it is probably a setting you have to activate in the 'Granturismo 7' game and not the 'G29 Driving Force'.

Hello, What I can tell you is that "Forza Horizon", yes it is an arcade game and I play it with the Xbox controller. I don't see this as being the case for a steering wheel. Forza Motorsport" is more of a simulation game. The following games I recommend for a steering wheel: - American Truck Simulator - Assetto Corsa - Automobilista - Bus Driving Sim 22 - Bus Simulator 16 - 21 - Bus Simulator 2012 - Dirt Rally 2.0 - Euro Truck Simulator 2 - F1 2022 & F1 2023 - Long Distance Bus 2016 - KartKraft - Munich Bus Simulator - Nascar - OMSI 1 & 2 - Project CARS 1 - 3 - Race On - Sébastien Loeb Rally EVO - The Bus - Tourist Bus Simulator - WRC FIA World Rally Championship Greetings, René

No, unfortunately this is not possible because they are two different systems. If you are going to buy the Logitech, you can modify it to have a F1-like steering wheel.
