The screen is unfortunately very small and not a touchscreen, you control it using the dials. This makes it very impractical for browsing, so I've never tried it.
I have never tried this. But I don't think so, as the device only has its own speakers or headphones as output via the cinch socket. I tried connecting speakers via the cinch socket: only mono sound... The device has a great sound and is good for 1 room as an easy-to-use Internet radio. Super easy settings and you don't need a mobile to control it. Ideal radio for places with WIFI but no aerial reception (basement, craft room etc.). We are happy with the device as it fulfils our requirements for a radio in the workshop. Yes, you can connect Cheomecast to this device.
Unfortunately, I don't know, because I didn't buy the device for this purpose. But you can certainly find out more about Philips, for example via this link: https://www.philips.ch/c-p/TAM6805_10/mini-stereoanlage - there is talk of Bluetooth. Also the manual: https://www.download.p4c.philips.com/files/t/tam6805_10/tam6805_10_dfu_deu.pdf?_ga=2.218920281.1954167477.1679557951-238002473.1679557951&_gac=1.119918842.1679557960.Cj0KCQjw8e-gBhD0ARIsAJiDsaVg11G6gWLHmDlHBDzwj7LOyJ6kZFHIMaPj8Eo-LeMs714FdeC_7VkaAvqSEALw_wcB Hope you find the answer - Greetings
Unfortunately, I can't judge, but Philips has an instruction manual on its website, so maybe there's something in it. I'm sorry.
What does switch off mean? When I switch off the unit with the remote control, I think it goes into standby and the time remains visible. But you can't switch the unit off completely with a button, so a certain minimal power consumption remains. One weak point is the DAB antenna that comes with the set. I bought a better one separately (this is also related to how good the reception is in general), but otherwise the set is good and the price/performance ratio is right for me. Further information at: https://www.download.p4c.philips.com/files/t/tam6805_10/tam6805_10_dfu_deu.pdf. Greetings Bruno
I don't know, it's not relevant for me.
Remote control yes I have no idea about boxes
DAB antenna is built in, needs nothing extra
The nominal output power according to the information in the BA = 2x25 watts RMS.
