It's a pity I didn't hear about ink tank printers sooner.....I would have saved myself a lot of trouble!

I was looking for a pure printer, something that is hardly available anymore. The quality of the prints on standard paper is good, but paler and less vibrant than my previous printer (Epson Workforce WF3010 from 2012). The print speed is rather slow. Especially when changing print settings (e.g. quality 'high' and increasing intensity), the print speed can drop quite dramatically, to less than 1 page/minute.

My previous model (EpsonTank) was significantly better, as well as easier to use.
Super printer if you have a lot to print. And you save a lot of money on ink. Have the printer in the office.

GGf look at megatank 7050 if you also want to scan and copy

For inkjet printers with the features:
- Color
- ink tank
- without multifunction
there is unfortunately not much choice. With the G5050 I am very satisfied so far. Print image is nice, but I have not yet tested photo paper.

To note: You have to buy a separate scanner with this printer.

The priority for me was refilling the ink. Finally there are printers where you do not always have to replace these expensive individual cartridges. I hope that the ink refill from the bottle has a future. I find the print quality super.

Compact
Good printer, with plenty of ink when purchased. A little slow but quite suitable for normal use. Only downside, ink smudges on paper when marked with pen.
