Creality CR-6 SE
The device is quick and very easy to assemble, the build quality is good to very good with one exception.
A further developed Ender 3, in which much has been optimized and expanded based on user feedback.
After the first start-up also immediately installed newer firmware, with significantly more functions and expanded print parameter overview.
I achieve very good print results with it, improved by quite a bit compared to the Ender 3 (double, synchronized Z-axis does its part).
The only negative point:
The four rollers of the Y-axis were so scratched in the delivery state that when moving the printing table several strong jerks / engagement points were noticeable and were immediately replaced by me. Only then absolutely smooth running in the rail.
According to information in the Creality community, this is unfortunately not an isolated case - Chinese quality, and actually immediately a warranty case ...

The printer arrived and I waited until the weekend for the first tests. Now set up, everything looks good. Then according to instructions the first auto leveling, unfortunately the print head rammed into the print plate with the fine nozzle without hesitation. After 3 attempts with the same problem and with device restarts, I opened the print head and found there a plug inserted at an angle, but which was probably fixed by the manufacturer in this position with hot glue. Fortunately, the manual says "check plug" as a troubleshooting...
So hot glue removed and plugged the connector correctly - see it works. Unfortunately, the printing plate is still damaged in the middle - I hope the printing will still work in the future.
The first annoyance was gone so let's see how it goes:
Then after a coffee again a little more motivated to the first test: filament inserted according to instructions and device preheated. Test print... But it doesn't find the G-codes on the SD-card - not even the provided testfiles. Then I downloaded the latest firmware from the manufacturer's website and flashed it according to instructions. But what is it? Everything in Chinese, heating no longer works. After further research, I found out that you also have to disassemble the display and flash the appropriate firmware there too. Unfortunately, a micro SD card must be used, which of course must not be larger than 8 GB. However, the scope of delivery only included a conventional SD card, which does not fit at this point. Also the partitioning of a larger micro SD card does not work at this point. So I gave up and ordered an 8 GB micro SD. I was about to pack everything up and send it back. For me, not a mature product, especially since I create in IT and have the technical direction for a testing laboratory and am very talented craftsman - plug and play was unfortunately not announced here.
