Charging via the USB socket on the phone is much easier, faster and allows you to continue using the smartphone while it is charging.

Now that I've had the device for a while, I'm sorry to say that it works very badly. Almost every time the LED flashes because the device does not recognise my iPhone. (no not only mine)
My conclusion: the device is EXTREMELY tricky and you have to put it on with what feels like millimetre precision, after which it works for a while.
Not only I noticed this, but also my visitors, as the thing is now lying around in the living room.
Even when it does work, it can take 5 minutes before it starts flashing and the charging process is interrupted. Unfortunately, I will have to buy another one now...Pro
