Very detailed sound. Enough to power up the Klipsh R-28f. Good networking options, DLNA / Spotify / Airplay / BT work as expected.
The unit is quite big and looks not that modern. To big remote control with unnecessary set of buttons. The app Onkyo Remote 3 looks old.
The main drawback to me is the Bluetooth lag. When you connect your computer via Bluetooth to play videos they have 1-2 sec lag with the sound. Onkyo claims it cannot be fixed. My cheap BT receiver has no such issues. Shame on you Onkyo

Beautiful and, above all, very versatile device. It not only allows the usual FM reception, but also DAB+, even internet radio is preconfigured and works straight away. It can be operated via wired LAN as well as via WLAN. It has many connections, even a phono connection (MM) is available.
Contrary to other reports on the Internet, the APP (Android) works without problems. This makes it easier to select music than via the built-in display.
All in all, a great device with good sound quality that includes everything, such as a 2x135 watt amplifier and a receiver that can hardly be surpassed in versatility.
One point deduction:
Some of the controls take some getting used to.
Hybrid (network) standby requires a lot of energy (approx. 20 kWh per year, according to the technical data). Without it, the network must first be reconnected and configured for a long time when the unit is switched on again. This takes about 80 seconds. In addition, an Internet radio station always sounds first. I have not succeeded in having my home media server dialled instead. This only works when the hybrid standby is switched on. It would be nice if the home media server could be stored under "My Favourites" (I also did not succeed).
I was also unable to play playlists from the unit.
There seems to be room for improvement in the software.

The receiver is easy to set up and works perfectly with a NAS.
Several connection options are available. What is missing here are separate connections for DAB and FM antennas.
DAB+ performs a quick scan and fully meets my expectations.
Contrary to other reviews in Google Play, the app works perfectly (Galaxy 6 and Tab S with Android 6).
The remote control takes some getting used to. After two days I got used to it, especially since I control the receiver via the app.
The sound quality in connection with the Yamaha sn-55 is excellent.
I can recommend the receiver without reservation.
