For the money, there's not much to say!

    Price performance is top!
    Many setting options
Can also be controlled well via the smartphone, the app is somewhat complicated...
No 4k...have the Xbox connected directly to the TV and optically to the onkyo!

    Contra

    • Could have a few more connections, but you have to dig deeper into your pocket.

I would recommend it to others.

It is neither clunky nor anything else. AV receivers in this range are like that, and if that doesn't suit you, you should buy a slim version.

Good and inexpensive AV receiver. I can still recommend it, but after a few years
I switched to a Yamaha. Either it was my setup or the picture quality is immensely better with the Yamaha.

    Pro

    • Easy handling
    • Simple and straightforward design

    Contra

    • HDMI CEC does not always work
    • scaling not so good.

    I would buy again

I don't have a 7.1 setup now, but I feel that 5.1 is better than my previous TX-NR616 and TX-NR636. It has a lot of "rumble" and power :-)
(However, I don't have any comparisons with other receiver manufacturers).

    Pro

    • Price / Performance
    • Faster menus compared to previous models
    • Remote APP on Android has become faster (response time)

    Contra

    • I can't think of anything at the moment

    Full recommendation to buy!

Super amplifier at a phenomenal price, the only downer is that the speaker connections for the normal plugless cables are a little too small for thicker hi-fi cables, but with a little "fiddling" you can get them in.

    Excellent value for money

A very well made amplifier. Excellent for home cinema, more discreet for hi-fi, but that's not its primary use.

    Pro

    • Great clarity in the dialogue.
    • Pure Direct function very good for music.
    • Has all current decodings.

    Contra

    • Lacks a bit of dynamic
    • You have to turn up the volume to get a feel for it.
    • Perfectible calibration.

Very good with a few flaws that are not flaws.

Very good! Setup is also very simple. However, you should not / cannot rely 100% on the calibration via microphone. I prefer to set the distance and crossover manually myself.

By the way, you have to install the firmware
update manually via USB, because the system somehow thinks that there is no new firmware online.

    Pro

    • Quality
    • Interface

    Contra

    • FW update must be installed manually
    • Calibration via microphone is not great

Sound and equipment turn the room into a concert hall or cinema in the best quality.

Incredibly versatile "mid-range" receiver with top-class qualities. Decoder for dts:X and Dolby Atmos! Audio upscaler dts Neural:X and Dolby Surround are also on board. Conventional audio tracks in dts-HD, dts 5.1, Dolby Digital 5.1 or Dolby True HD can be used for ceiling speakers for 5.1.2 or 5.2.2. The TX-NR676E has two pre-outs for connecting two active subwoofers.

    Pro

    • powerful seven-channel power amplifier
    • Level stability
    • 4 ohm loudspeaker compatible!!!
    • Visually not overloaded but everything on and in it
    • SOUND!
    • HDMI loop-through, eliminates the need for an HDMI connection on the GraKa
    • Simple and logical menu navigation

    Contra

    • No video scaler
    • No active subwoofer output
    • Only FullHD or 4K video output, nothing in between

Not for the full price. Under 300 - great.

I don't want to rub anyone's nose in it. But the Black Friday deal was great! It does what it's supposed to, but sometimes when I switch from TV to Spotify, then back to Chromecast, it gets stuck. Has happened 3 times in a month now. No big deal. Just turn it off and on again and everything works again.

    Pro

    • Perfect integration with all internet services
    • Switching works great
    • Sound is also great

    Contra

    • clumpy
    • Various software interfaces (spotify, airplay, chromecast) not reliable
