This tripod feels like one of the most used tripods by Habby photographers, and not without reason. The tripod covers a wide range of needs.
The only thing the tripod is not very good at is positioning close to the ground. But there is a remedy for this! A short centre pole can be ordered directly from Rollei (~15CHF) so that the tripod can be placed flat on the ground. This gives you flexibility when you need it.

Top tripod for beginners and professionals. Always stable, easy to take with you. And has a comfortable size when folded.

Easy handling
I bought this for a trip to Thailand and I can say that I was really impressed.
It is very stable even in strong winds. Thanks to the detachable column, it can also be used as a monopod.

A top tripod that fulfils all the wishes of a photographer.

It's been my constant companion on photo outings. There's something more compact and lighter, but it's less stable. It's a good compromise.
To save a little weight if you don't need the full height range, prefer the C5i, which is a little smaller but also lighter. I also use it for night-time outings, and with Celestron 15x70 or 20x80 binoculars, it's a pleasure. But with such a high magnification, the slightest vibration is visible.

Very good camera stand.
Not suitable for heavy lens or wind.
Would recommend.

Good stability, but sometimes a little immobile
I've had it with me a few times now on photo tours and I'm delighted with it.
The tripod is light, stable, very intuitive to use and has the perfect working height (even without the centre pole extended). So I can only recommend it.
Ideal for travelling, very light and also very good, holds my large DSLR incl. large 200 mm zoom plus clip-on flash (both mounted together as a test) perfectly. It's great that it also comes with rubber feet to protect the floor at home.
Quick to assemble and disassemble.

I bring this tripod wherever I travel to and have never had any problems. In Iceland, I did some great shots on the ice, and the spikes of the tripod helped a lot to keep it stable and for me to not slide while walking.

A very good tripod from Rollei.
Thanks to the carbon fibre, a very light and handy tripod to take with you, also very practical with the monopod combination.
For me, it should have a much shorter centre column so that you can take photos close to the ground without having to hang the camera upside down.

Thanks to the two C6i tripods that I own, I probably won't need a new tripod for my applications any time soon. I also find the even larger tripod models from Rollei, which are suitable for even more weight, interesting.
The most important thing is to buy the right tripod for your application. Even the best tripod is only of limited use if it is not suitable for the desired application.

Tested for a whole day in all directions. No fatigue, super light. Quick and easy to use in any situation. The little rubber feet are easy to remove and put back on for rocky paths or delicate indoor surfaces. With its 12 kg load capacity, I had no problems with my big video head and powerful telephoto lens.
