Mega Sound
The sound box is really great, the bass is really deep, maybe because the lowest frequency is 20Hz. Compared to the popular UE Boom/Megaboom speakers, I find the sound much better and clearer. The battery also lasts a long time. The only disadvantage is that the speaker is a bit heavy, but this is acceptable with the strong bass. The lighting is also nice, although you can adjust it a bit in the Sony app, but you can't adjust it individually and only have presets. If you don't like the lights, you can simply turn them off.
Conclusion: Sony has managed to produce a great Bluetooth speaker for little money.Pro

Good quality for the price
Basically, I am very satisfied. The sound is not quite as good as expected, but still satisfactory. The speaker is stable and easy to adjust. It's bigger and heavier than I'm used to, but it's a lot better than the smaller speakers I've had so far. The lights are a fun gimmick that you can turn on and off at the touch of a button to suit your mood.

Sound, battery and gadgets - top!
Top bluetooth speaker where the whole package fits and contains practically all the features you need. Too bad: the speaker is waterproof, but moisture forms on the inside of the leds and only disappears after 5 days!

Absolutely recommendable
The SRS-XB32 is a waterproof speaker that shines with a powerful, balanced sound reproduction. The previous models (XB21, XB31 and XB41) were not convincing with their muffled sound. The signal tones are pleasantly quiet. There are three built-in sound modes:
- "LiveSound" produces a pleasantly wide stereo image without distorting the sound.
- "ExtraBass" sounds good in all situations
- Standard" is useful in the bathroom where the bass would make it boomy.
The SRS-XB32 is one of the best portable Bluetooth speakers 2019. Use: at home, in the garden, on the road and for small parties.
Tip: the Harman/Kardon Go + Play (art. no. 5898802) goes one better, but weighs three times as much.Pro
