Product details
You have positioned your microphones, adjusted your levels and everyone can record. Now you need a way for every artist to hear himself. That's where the Sampson QH4 comes in... The QH4 is a 4-channel headphone amplifier that allows you to distribute your audio to up to four individual headphones, each with its own volume control. The compact design is perfect for use with any studio or desktop workstation, and with your laptop or smartphone when recording on the go. The QH4 has two balanced 1/4" inputs for connecting your mixing console or recording interface, and a stereo 1/8" aux input for playing music from your smartphone or other line-level device. In addition to the four stereo 1/4-inch headphone outputs, the QH4 offers a 1/8-inch aux output that can be used to connect multiple QH4s in series. The four independent high-power amplifier channels provide clean, clear audio for up to four headphones, operating between 16 and 600 Ω The power does not decrease even if all four channels are used. The QH4 was designed with an extremely low noise level and a wide dynamic range and is a tremendous value compared to other headphone amplifiers on the market. The master volume control and mute switch on the QH4 allows you to easily control the overall level of your headphones. Before you start your mix, always check that it is compatible with mono speaker systems. The QH4 has a global mono button that allows you to quickly check the mono compatibility of your tracks. If you notice that part of your audio is missing, you should check the phase of your recordings. This feature also allows you to take a split left and right feed from a stereo interview and send both tracks to either side of your headphones. This is ideal for quickly monitoring a podcast or recording with split tracks.
