has been completely redesigned to meet the standard of the new product line C-Contemporary. With this lens you have the perfect starter kit for digital SLR cameras and are well prepared for many areas of photography. It offers you a variety of different image angles, from wide angle to telephoto (18-200mm - equivalent 27-300mm in 35mm KB format) and also covers the macro range. The OS (Optical Stabilizer) and the fast HSM (Hyper Sonic Motor) make for even more comfort when shooting close-up, indoor and night-exhaust fan mounts from the palm of your hand. It incorporates the latest technologies, which makes it a standard zoom lens of the latest generation.

Sigma präsentiert hier ein gutes Objektiv, das gerade im Bereich Bildqualität kaum Schwächen zeigt. In fast allen Teilbereichen erhält das Modell gute Bewertungen. Für die exzellenten Ergebnisse bei Falschlicht gibt es sogar die Note ?Sehr gut?. Lediglich die Bildstabilisierung fällt etwas ab, aber schlecht ist diese ebenfalls nicht...

Ein fairer Preis mit einer guten Arbeitsleistung, die zwar keinerlei top Werte erreicht aber auch keine Riesen-Einbrüche hinnehmen muss. Als Zoomobjektiv macht das Sigma einen guten Job und könnte bei der Auflösung in der Bildmitte allerdings bessere Werte liefern.
