Bei der Sony DSC-W830 handelt es sich um eine kleine und optisch ansprechende Digitalkamera. Sie ist mit einem Preis ab 90 Euro ein Schnäppchen, zumal man auch bei der dafür gebotenen Leistung durchaus Anerkennung zollen darf. Auf der anderen Seite darf man jedoch keine allzu großen Wunderdinge von dieser 19,9 Megapixel Kamera erwarten...
Sowohl bei der Aufnahme von Fotos als auch bei Videos zeigt sich die Sony DSC-W830 als eine durchschnittlich Wahl. Gleiches gilt zudem für die Displayqualität, der verbaute Blitz ist jedoch schwach. Auch bei der Handhabung erfordert die Kompaktkamera eine Vielzahl an Kompromissen.
