Product details
Thermal Grizzly from Hamburg is a new German brand dedicated to combating high temperatures and poor heat transfer. The goal is to provide the overclocking community with high-performance thermal products, which remain a weak point. However, the product range can also be used for better and quieter cooling of gaming PCs, workstations, mini-PCs, and many other applications. In addition to higher clock rates, better thermal products enable quieter cooling and a longer lifespan for the components being cooled.
The thermal paste named Aeronaut is the entry-level product among Thermal Grizzly's thermal pastes. Although the proportion of metal oxides is somewhat lower here, it still offers good thermal conductivity. With its relatively low density and silicone-based carrier structure, it is particularly suitable for achieving a thin layer and thus low temperatures in large-area applications. It does not tend to harden and, with its good price-performance ratio and lower metal content, which also protects the surfaces of the heat source and cooler, it is ideal for applications where coolers or heat sources are frequently changed.
The Aeronaut thermal paste comes in a 1.5 ml syringe with two applicators included. With these applicators, an area of 27 x 27 mm can be covered with a drop of paste about 3 mm in size, making the syringe sufficient for approximately 15 applications—this, of course, depends on the individual application and skill.
