The Thermalright HR-02 Macho Rev. B is a consistent evolution of its predecessor. It features a significantly enlarged, nickel-plated, and highly polished base measuring 53 x 40 mm. This detail has greatly enhanced the cooling performance of the cooler and further increased its performance advantage over competing models. Another innovation of the HR-02 Macho Rev. B concerns the included fan. The cooler is equipped as standard with the temperature-controlled fan TY 147 A (PWM). With a speed range of 300 to 1,300 RPM (+/- 15%), the TY 147 A is noticeably quieter than the previous model. Thus, the HR-02 Macho Rev. B is practically imperceptible from the outside during normal operation. Additionally, the special design of the aluminum fins of the heatsink achieves particularly low air resistance. The oval air channel in the center of the cooler ensures controlled air turbulence within the heatsink, allowing for even more effective heat dissipation.
