The ZyXEL Armor Z1 AC2350 Dual-Band Wireless Router is ready for the next generation of Wi-Fi. With its 802.11ac Wave 2 chipset, it supports speeds of up to 2,350 Mbps.

Design Follows Performance
The Armor Z1 from ZyXEL owes its name to its futuristic design. A plain product name would not do justice to its impressive appearance. However, the design is just the packaging for absolute high-end performance: The AC wireless technology achieves a maximum speed of 1,733 Mbps with four simultaneous streams. Additionally, there are four N-streams available with a total of 600 Mbps. Thanks to ZyXEL's experience in the security sector, the Armor Z1 is equipped with a high-quality firewall.

Mobile Configuration
The Wi-Fi router can also be configured using a smartphone or tablet. For this purpose, the Armor Z1 offers a simplified GUI specifically designed for mobile devices to facilitate easy setup.

Der Zyxel NBG6816 kann im Test zwar in keinem Bereich einen Bestwert setzen, überzeugt aber mit einem tollen Gesamtbild: Die Datendurchsätze sind dank vier verbauter Antennen sehr gut und die Ausstattung mit zwei USB-3.0-Ports und vielen Netzwerkfunktionen kann sich sehen lassen. Ein DSL-Modem müssen Sie allerdings extra kaufen.
