Question about HP OfficeJet Pro 8022
Good day. I am thinking of buying the HP OfficeJet Pro 8022 printer for my home office. I work in my home office with my employer's laptop. He has told me that IT will install the printer software on my laptop. However, the SCAN function will not. Do you know if scanning via Windows would work with this model? The printer would be connected to my laptop with a USB cable.
HP-Smart is freeware, so could be installed by your IT at no cost.
The scan function works for me. However, I use the HP software HP-Smart. This is installed by Windows. But if the permissions are missing, I don't know if it works.
Alternatively, a USB stick can be used to transport data. But this is more complicated.
