Question about Logitech MK850 Performance
Hello To use the keyboard and mouse with 2 computers, do I need to install special Logitech software on both computers? Or is it enough to install this on only one computer for the configuration? Background of my question: I want to connect with my private pc and my business laptop, on the laptop I can and may not install any SW. thank you
The software only needs to be installed when you want to switch the mouse from one PC to another and the keyboard and mouse are automatically switched to the other PC. (Logitech Flow) For this feature, the software must be installed on all PCs. The PCs must then also be in the same network segment. If the laptop is in the company network via VPN, this feature does not work even with software.
If you only want to use the keyboard and mouse, simply register both devices on the laptop via Bluetooth. You then simply have to select which PC you want to use with the keys on the keyboard and mouse. You don't need any software for that. I also do it that way.
No software needs to be installed to operate the keyboard and mouse. Plug in the dongle and you're done.
However, if additional dongles are to be taught, the software must be installed on one computer.
