The moka pot is a staple of the Italian kitchen. With a moka pot, you can brew a strong and rich coffee that also serves as a good base for milk-based coffees. Traditionally, moka pots are made of aluminum, but Café Olé is made of mirror-polished stainless steel, and instead of a rubber gasket, it features a more durable silicone gasket. Unlike aluminum pots, it is also suitable for use on induction cooktops. The diameter of the base is 11.5 cm.

Moka pots come in various sizes because the filter must always be filled completely with coffee. Otherwise, the water will pass through the filter too quickly, resulting in a weak brew. In a moka pot, coffee is used that is ground finer than what is used for drip brewing. We recommend freshly roasted coffee beans and a quality coffee grinder.
