WMF Lono glass toaster with bun rack
I am very happy with it, hopefully it will last a long time!
the only thing it could have is a time display that counts down

This is a toaster. It heats slices of bread. It works. Very well, in fact.
But what makes the difference for me compared to a 30 euro toaster is how this toaster does it.
- The idea with the glass panes is a great solution so that you can keep them clean.
- The heating elements ensure that the bread is toasted evenly and the fact that you can see how dark the slices of bread are getting means that you can intervene at any time if you have made a mistake.
- The highlight for me, however, is how the feed works.
Insert the toast, press the button and the bread is lowered by the motor and the heating starts.
- Depending on the type of bread, i.e. toast or bagel, it can also be toasted on one side.
The small minus point is the operation, which consists of non-illuminated buttons on the side. You either have to memorise them or put a piece of paper next to them with the button assignments. I learn this over time. Once the corresponding button has been selected, it is illuminated. That works perfectly with our coffee grinder and machine.
Only time will tell how well it keeps clean.
All in all, a hopelessly overpriced machine that's just fun to use and does what it's supposed to do

After 4 months, the toaster is already broken. The motor does not bring the bread down for toasting. Had to send it back to the supplier. I had expected better quality from WMF, at least considering the high price!
