Dishwasher-safe bone china
The surface of bone china is technically a type of glass and should be treated accordingly.
Please note the following instructions:
Any deposits that may appear are in many cases starch deposits that have not always been properly removed in the dishwasher. In the course of time, such deposits become even stronger, they build up to form a relatively thin but extremely resistant film, which can be removed, for example, by:
- very heavily soiled dishes
- hard tap water
- incorrectly dosed detergents
is favoured.
In general, it can be said:
Deposits on porcelain glazes and glasses can only be avoided by optimal use of water, water softener, cleaning and rinse aid.
In most cases, these deposits can be removed with a liquid porcelain or glass ceramic cleaner for ceramic hobs. There is usually no damage to the glaze. If the deposits have already formed a very strong bond with the surface, removal may be very difficult or no longer possible in some cases.
For hard porcelain and bone china, the statement "the harder and the less porous the material, the higher the dishwasher resistance" is generally valid.

This item can be used in the microwave without hesitation.
