Meat, fish, or vegetables are vacuum-sealed in appropriate bags and gently cooked at a consistent temperature using the sous vide method, ensuring that vitamins and minerals are preserved. Meat and fish may then undergo a brief "searing" to develop light roasting aromas – and perfectly cooked food is ready. The Unold Sous Vide Stick Time is the ideal partner for this cooking method. It heats up to 20 liters of water in a pot or another heat-resistant container – the minimum height should be 18 centimeters. Once the water reaches the desired temperature, the vacuum-sealed food can be placed in. The Sous Vide Stick Time heats the water to within +/- 0.2 degrees Celsius with its 1,300 watts – the desired temperature can be set in 0.5-degree increments. During the cooking process, the temperature is maintained consistently, thanks to the powerful circulation pump in the Sous Vide Stick Time. Equipped with a timer function (up to 60 hours), the BPA-free Sous Vide Stick Time also features an automatic shut-off for low water levels. The angled LCD display is convenient, making it easy to read the time and temperature.
