Question about Roborock Dyad Pro

I am now using the second unit. The first one was defective after two weeks (leaking, consequently water loss). The new one actually works perfectly. The only problem is that when you start it, the smell is incredibly strong. I have already changed the rollers, replaced the filter, cleaned the tanks, cleaned the suction pipe with the brush provided. The problem started quite soon after receiving it, I didn't have the problem with the previous one. Does anyone have the same problem?

No, my Dyad Pro works. I let the brushes and the water tank housings air dry separately after cleaning before I reassemble the unit.

I had the same problem at first. After use, I run the thorough self-cleaning programme until the dirty water is almost clear, which is usually 3 cycles. Then I let the cleaned dirty water tank air dry and don't actually use it again until the next cleaning. I also clean the entire vacuum cleaner thoroughly about once a month, i.e. I remove the rollers and clean them with rinsing water and clean the vacuum cleaner thoroughly with a cloth. Since I've been doing this, nothing smells any more and if it does, it's dirty under the rollers and needs a thorough clean.

Hi, we had this problem, then we started emptying it AFTER the automatic cleaning. It makes things much better.

Hi ciao
I use the appliance regularly and sometimes it smells very strong.
The trick is to empty and clean the water tank after each use. Then it doesn't smell any more.
Otherwise I am quite satisfied.
