According to internal clarifications and enquiries with the supplier, we can say the following about the filters:
Xiaomi Mi Air Purifier Formaldehyde Filter S1
We recommend this filter for rooms that cannot be ventilated. It captures 99% of dust, pollen, dander, mould spores etc. In addition, the product has an activated carbon filter which neutralises room odours. In summary: HEPA filter + activated carbon filter + formaldehyde filter.

This is a HEPA and activated carbon filter for very fine dust particles and neutralising room odours.

So we would most likely recommend the first filter. This is ideal for pollen allergy sufferers and closed rooms that cannot be ventilated.
